Benefits of Public Water Supply
Peace of Mind
Residents enjoy safe, clean, and reliable water as construction progresses and new infrastructure is implemented.
Sustainable Supply
A long-term, sustainable water supply is being established as the new district infrastructure moves through its development phases.
Fire Protection
New hydrants and water access points will enhance community safety and may help reduce home insurance costs as installation is completed.
Compare & Save
Supported by a $5 million grant, the public water district is now in the implementation phase, with cost efficiencies continuing over the initial five years versus bottled water, well maintenance, or private funding models.
With less than $2 per day—comparable to a single bottle of water at a local store—residents will soon have access to safe, reliable, and sustainable water service delivered to their homes.
The County’s grant funding offsets an estimated $1,118 annual cost per Equivalent Dwelling Unit (EDU), with additional County contributions planned throughout the next five years as the district continues its rollout.
| Year | Estimated Annual User Savings |
| 1 | $618 |
| 2 | $625 |
| 3 | $632 |
| 4 | $260 |
| 5 | $180 |
| TOTAL SAVINGS | $2,315 |
